Shelley Bloch, CEO, The Wall Muse/Incoming Chair ARCS Fundraising Committee
Shelley Bloch, founder of The Wall Muse, leverages over two decades of experience in museums, galleries, and universities to support artists keeping more money and autonomy in their art practices. Prior to establishing The Wall Muse in 2020, Shelley excelled as the Regional Director for the Midwest at Heather James Fine Art, where she consistently generated millions in art sales and expertly managed complex logistics. Her diverse background includes roles in registration at the Palm Springs Art Museum and the Indianapolis Museum of Art. Shelley’s expertise spans artist and donor relations, fundraising, collections management and project management. She is active in her community, serving on the Board of Directors for the African/African American Historical Society & Museum. In her free time, Shelley enjoys standup comedy as well as caring for and TNRing community cats in her area.

The Emergency Sub-Committee is excited to announce our next ARCS book club event on Tuesday, August 20th at 7:00 p.m. ET. We will be discussing The Feather Thief by Kirk W. Johnson, a captivating true crime story about the audacious theft of rare bird specimens from a natural history museum. This intriguing story delves into the motivations behind the crime and the lucrative market for exotic feathers.
This is a fantastic opportunity for some fun summer reading and engaging conversation. Registration is free, but required. We look forward to seeing you there!
