Archaeological sites and Favourites! exhibition and conservation tour. This double tour is a unique occasion to learn about conservation and preservation of Montreal’s most important archaeological sites, presented in situ at Pointe-à-Callière. The Museum is located on the foundation site of Montreal. The tour also gives you a chance to discuss about the challenge of presenting mixed collections of varied materials in exhibitions design inspired by "open vault" concept which requires constant monitoring of conditions. - All off site tours will occur on Tuesday November 7, 2023 from 1:00 - 4:00 pm ET.
- Transportation will be provided and will depart from our host hotel at 1:00 pm ET.
- Buses will depart the off-site tour locations at 4:00 pm ET with attendees arriving back at the host hotel by 4:30 pm ET.
